Country Kitchen

Design and construction of a traditional country kitchen centered around a masonry fireplace. Heat from the fireplace is naturally distributed throughout the residence by convection, eliminating the need for any additional heating source, even during severe winter conditions.

To preserve the timeless character of the interior, modern appliances - including the refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave - are concealed within a separate area of the room, allowing the traditional craftsmanship and materials to remain the visual focus.
